A 48 MP iPhone photo prints excellently at A1. A standard 12 MP photo still looks great from the 2 metres-plus you'd naturally stand back to view a print this size — check yours with the tool above to be sure.
See the resolution guide above for exact pixel minimums at 300, 200 and 150 DPI. Because A1 is viewed from further away, 200 DPI already reads as sharp on the wall.
Flat, never rolled — A1 ships in a large rigid flat box so it arrives pristine and ready to hang or frame, with no rolling creases.
Both work. Framed gives a formal finish; frameless (canvas or a timber hanger) is lighter, cheaper at this size, and increasingly the preferred look for large prints.
